What can i do for a at home hair treatment?

i really want soft hair....i heard putting conditioner in your hair will soften it. anything else? What can i do for a at home hair treatment?
This a family recipe... lucky for you it's not a secret recipe. =o)

This conditioner makes your hair soft, shiny and it smells delicious!

These are the ingredients:

* 1 almost spoiled Avocado (peeled and mashed)

* 1 almost spoiled banana (peeled and mashed)

* 1/2 can of Coconut Milk

* 1 teaspoon of Olive Oil

Instructions:

Combine mashed avocado and banana with the 1/2 can of coconut milk. Mash together until its smooth and about as thick as your store bought conditioner. You can add small amounts at a time of the rest of the coconut milk until you get the texture you like (I prefer a creamier consistency so I use just a teenie bit more then half a can). Massage through wet shampooed hair. You may like to divide your hair so that you distribute the homemade conditioner evenly. Comb the conditioner through your hair then place a shower cap over your head if you do not have a shower cap you can wrap your head in saran wrap. Let the conditioner sit for 10 minutes; If you have a hair dryer you can sit under it for even deeper conditioning. I don't have a hair dryer, but what I myself do is wet and ring out a medium sized towel I put the it in the microwave for about 1 1/2 minutes (if you do it this way BE CAREFUL NOT TO BURN YOURSELF there will be steam coming from the towel) wrap the hot steamy towel around your head for 5 minutes and repeat for the other 5 minutes. Last rinse homemade conditioner out and style however you like.

Enjoy and feel free to email me if you have any questions.

leave conditioner in for a half hour or so, and that'll work.

putting a mayo mask on it for a half hour will work as well, and so will putting olive oil in your hair %26amp; leaving that in for a bit. i must warn you the olive oil is for REALLY dry hair, so if you do use it don't use much. also, rinse you hair with cold water after you wash/condition it, bc the cold will help to keep the frizzies down and add extra shine
try a system of shampoo and conditioner of the same brand. nexus is what I recommend. my mom is a hair stylist for the runway and she uses nexus products to get that soft look. they're available at walgreens and most drug stores. she also says to eat almonds for protein and once a month apply olive oil to your hair for an hour and then shower. it gives ';life'; to your hair. and dont forget to trim dead ends. good luck.
Go to the grocery store and buy a bottle of PLAIN olive oil. Take it and put it next to where you wash your hair with a comb and a large bath towel. Wash your hair, but don't add any conditoner. Put the towel around your neck and pour/comb olive oil into your hair until it starts to drip. Wrap the towel around your head and sit somewhere warm/hot for two hours. When you take the towel off your hair should feel nearly dry. Wash again and condition as normal ... your hair will be soft, supple and shiny ... this 'hair conditioner' is the OLDEST 'beauty secret' in the world ... my hairdresser told me to do this at least once every three months ... my hair is permed but still looks REALLY GOOD and feels very soft, even after over two years of perms every 6 weeks! No, I don't have 'frizz' either ... that is how 'good' this hair treatement is!
well if your like me, you will know how annoying it is to condition your hair and then after still find knots!

what i have found that works is if you simply leave the conditioner in for a little while longer. Just do the normal process and when you put the conditoner in just turn off the shower for about five minutes then after you wash your hair out i could garrantee that your hair will feel really silky.

Good luck :)

leave in hair conditoner is awesome. you can also buy jojoba oil from sally's beauty supply that will also help to soften your hair.
Well yeah, conditoner is made to soften hair. Also, try egg whites. And I know this might sound very nasty, but manayasse also works. Just make sure you wash it out with something that smells good
Mash 2 avocadoes up i a bowl slather on to hair for 10 mins.

wash out completley

its an at-home deep conditioner.
like some oil treatment
