I have dry and brittle hair, basically because I used a straigner almost everyday. I have tried quite a few products already. any suggestions?

Hey i recommend professional shampoo nothing from a drugstore. If you go in and get a haircut usually if you ask for a discount on product after you get it they will give you like 20 percent off or so... i recommend any strengthening shampoo and conditioner. Kpax or paulmitchell are both super good!!! i would also try a super skinny serum with it after you dry it and before you straighten. the bigges thing you need though to help keep the damage away is a heat protectant. If you cant get the shampoos do that for sure.... use it before you blow dry and before you flat iron..
i highly recommend Japanese hair straightening. i have very thick and damaged hair and it got much more manageable , soft and healthy after the straightening. but no matter what- make sure you are going to a professional who knows what they are doing! make sure to meet with other people that got it done with him/ her/ the salon. getting referrals for this will be your best bet.
