Can ayurvedic hair oil be applied while undergoing allopathic hair treatment?

My friend is experiencing hair loss on scalp so he is undergoing allopathic hair treatment. Now he wants to use ayurvedic hair oil with this treatment? is there any harm in doing so? plz advice me and him on this.

Tell your friend to ask their Doctor about it. Alopecia is NOTHING to play around with. The hair is very fragile and any little thing will knock it right off. I wouldn't suggest it personally but it really depends on how advanced or intense your friend's case is.
