What is the best hair treatment for thin chemically treated hair?

My hair used to be gorgeous, curly full of volume and long. About 5 6 years ago I started dying it, straightening it and putting in extentions (sewed in type of extentions) and now it's so thin, I'm close to balding and it won't grow. I'm so ashamed of it that I've been wearing a hat forever now just to cover it. Is there anything I can do or any treatment that will work?? and fast??

I use Nioxin and I'm very happy with it, althought I haven't had any significant growth yet my hair feels much more healthy and actually covers a lot better. You can go to their website and use the questionaire to see which product(s) suit your needs. What is the best hair treatment for thin chemically treated hair?
Pre natal vitamins.

Stop straightening and STOP doing extensions. The person you went to obviously didn't take into account the WEIGHT of the extentions on your hair and it sounds like there was some breakage because of it. Just leave it and use protein packs to restore the new growth and the existing hair once every week or alternate weeks. Hope this helped
